Our final event, the County Tri-Am at Stonehaven Golf Club was
a great success with 72 ladies taking part. The weather was absolutely glorious,
which certainly showcased the spectacular views to be had from the course on
the way round and I believe the dolphins showed up to add extra entertainment
to the day.
In first place, with a runaway score of 94 points were Stonehaven Golf Club team Jan Bradford, Wilma Lawrence and Yvonne Scott. This fantastic score was helped
by a superb Hole in One by Jan at the 7th hole. Many
congratulations from Aberdeenshire County to Jan.
In second place, with a good score of 86 points, came
another Stonehaven Golf Club team, Fiona Currie, Eleanor Hughes and Rose Riddell.
In third place, with 84 points, on a last 6 hold count back,
came the team of Rae Topping, Joyce Wood
and Christine Ritchie from Royal Tarlair Golf Club.
In fourth place also on 84 points, came the team of Rachel Smith, Lorna
Johnson and Liz Barrack, from Meldrum House Golf Club.
