Aberdeenshire Ladies County Golf News and Events
Our final session of pre-season training was held on another glorious
day at Murcar Links.
Everyone found the sessions most informative and enjoyable.
Our thanks go to Head Professional Gary Forbes for delivering
such excellent short game drills and competitions, it has been great for team
building.
George Young who is secretary of the North East District has
asked me to me to remind all clubs that the closing date for the Ladies Scratch
and Handicap and the Ladies Senior Scratch and Handicap sections is Friday 7th March.
I would encourage all those eligible to enter. I am sure you
would enjoy taking part.

The girls for a change enjoyed good weather to work on their pitching
and putting.
Vice Captain Linda, Selector Carol and myself were all very
impressed with the range of shots we saw, especially as the challenges were set
up to be very testing.
