Aberdeenshire Ladies County Golf News and Events
The Commonwealth Spoons are being held at Portlethen Golf Club on Monday 22nd June.
Soup and Sandwiches will be available on the day. They must be pre-ordered and paid for prior to playing.
This is a qualifying competition with the final being held at Thornton Golf Club, Fife on Monday 7th September 2026. At registration you will be asked to confirm your availability should you qualify.

Saturday 13th - Northern Counties v Perth & Kinross
Angus v Aberdeenshire
Sunday 14th - Angus v Northern Counties
Aberdeenshire v Perth & Kinross
Monday 15th - Aberdeenshire v Northern Counties
Perth & Kinross v Angus
Morning Foursomes will commence at 08:30am with 10 min intervals and the afternoon singles will commence at 13:30pm with 7 min intervals each day.
Supporters would be very welcome and I am sure the golf will be of the highest quality.

Congratulations go to Suzanne Robertson (Fraserburgh) on winning the First Ladies Links Championship yesterday at the Kings Links, Aberdeen. The Tournament was 36 holes played over 2 days with very generous Scratch & Handicap prizes. Well done to the other County Members who featured in the prize list. The Tournament was organised and ran by Graeme Robertson and his Team and hosted by Northern Golf Club. All players were very pleased with the event and the friendliness of the club. This is one for your Diaries next year Ladies, dates for 2027 will be confirmed at a later date.

Late Entries will be accepted for the Ladies Links Championship, hosted by Northern Golf club.The Inaugural championship will take place at the kings Links on Saturday & Sunday 6th & 7th June.
Entry fee is £30pp for 36 holes with Scratch and Handicap sections.

If you would like to be added to the waiting list please email alcga.comp.sec@gmail.com.
If you are now unable to play please email alcga.comp.sec@gmail.com and we will withdraw you and refund your entry before the 30th of July closing date. If you need to withdraw after the closing date please also let us know and we will add in a new player from the waiting list.
The draw will still be done two weeks before the Open date and shared as usual on the website and Facebook.
