SCOTLAND WIN THE MARY MCKENNA TROPHY 2026

 Our Past County Captain Sheena ( Wood) has just captained Scotland (Scottish SeniorWomans Golf Association)  to the Victory of winning the Mary McKenna Trophy at  Royal Portrush Ireland this weekend. Yesterday the Teams were battered with hailstones and high winds during  their Foursomes, but Scotland was 3-1 up after their day.

Today they played their Single matches and Scotland eventually won 7.5 - 4.5 this was only their 3rd win in Ireland since the tournament started.

Congratulations Sheena and to your Team from ALCGA 🏆

PETERCULTER Vs ALCGA - FRIENDLY MATCH - SUNDAY 12TH APRIL

Yesterday 12 Ladies from our Winter Coaching Sessions were selected and invited to play a Match at Peterculter Golf Club against their Mens Pennant Team.

It was a dry but very windy day. Although losing 3.5 to 2.5 playing the Men on their Home course, the Ladies did exceptionally well in the conditions as a few had only played the course once before.

It was a very worthwhile exercise with both Teams enjoying their games. Thank you to Peterculter Golf Club for allowing us to play your course and for your friendliness on and off the golf course.

North of Scotland Championship at Banchory Golf Club

 Entries are now open on the Scottish Golf App for the North of Scotland Championship which will be held at Banchory Golf Club (Royal Deeside) from Monday 27th - Wednesday 29th July. Posters with the information will be sent out to Clubs / Counties within the next few days.

  Just a reminder that our County Championship entries close on Thursday 9th April at 11pm.
